Congratulations on your new Cardia NFC business card! Here's what to expect when your package arrives.
Your card ID is a unique code (e.g., CRDA-XXXX-XXXX) that identifies your specific Cardia card. You'll need it during activation. You can find it on the packaging or the Quick Start card.
The very first thing to do after unboxing — tap your new Cardia card on your smartphone to begin setup.
Take your Cardia card and hold it against the back of your smartphone. For iPhones, hold it near the top. For Android phones, hold it near the center. Keep it steady for 1-2 seconds.
Your phone will detect the NFC chip embedded in the card. You'll see a notification pop up (or the browser will open automatically on Android). Tap the notification to proceed.
Each Cardia card has a unique URL written to its NFC chip. Your phone launches this URL automatically. Since the card is brand new and not yet activated, the system will detect this and redirect you to the activation page.
You'll see the Cardia activation screen with your card ID displayed. From here, you'll create your account and activate the card — all in one seamless flow.
When you tap your card, your phone opens a URL like cardia.cards/tap/YOUR-CARD-ID. Our server checks this card ID — if it's not yet activated, it redirects you to the activation page. Once activated, future taps will go directly to your public profile.
NFC must be enabled. On iPhones (7 and later), NFC is always on — no setting needed. On Android, make sure NFC is turned on in Settings → Connected Devices or Settings → NFC.
Phone cases matter! Very thick or metal phone cases can block NFC signals. If your phone doesn't react when you tap the card, try removing the case temporarily.
After tapping your card, you'll land on the activation page. Here's what happens next.
On the activation page, tap "Create Account".
Enter your first name, last name, email, username, and password. Your username becomes your profile URL (e.g., cardia.cards/yourname).
Tap "Create Account & Activate" — your account is created and your card is linked automatically in one step.
Done! Your card is activated. You'll be prompted to set up your profile next.
On the activation page, tap "Sign In & Activate".
Enter your email and password to log in.
Your card is automatically linked to your existing account. If you already have a profile set up, you're good to go!

Each Cardia card can only be activated and linked to one account. If you need to transfer a card to a different account, please contact our support team.
If you're already logged in when you tap the card, the activation happens instantly — no need to enter credentials again. The system detects your session and links the card right away.
Your Cardia profile is the page people see when they tap your card. Make it count!
Upload a professional headshot and write a short bio that introduces you.
Add your current role and organization so people know what you do.
Add your business phone number for direct calls or WhatsApp.
Connect your LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and other social accounts.
Link to your personal website, portfolio, or company page.
Enable one-tap contact saving so people can add you directly to their phone.
Add any other links — payment info (MoMo/PayPal), calendars, documents, etc.
Toggle individual items on or off to control what appears on your public profile.
Pro Tip: Use the "Preview Profile" button in your dashboard to see exactly what people will see when they tap your card. Keep your profile up to date for the best networking experience!
Your card is activated and your profile is set up. Now it's time to start networking!
Now that your card is active, every tap takes people directly to your profile — no activation screen, just your info.
Near the top for iPhones, near the center for Android. Keep it steady for 1-2 seconds.
A notification pops up (or the browser opens automatically). They tap it and your Cardia profile loads instantly — no app install required.
From your profile, they can download your contact info (vCard), visit your social media, call you, or tap any of your custom links.
Hold the card flat against the back of their phone. Keep it steady for 1-2 seconds until the phone reacts.
Bring the NFC area of the wristband (the inner side with the Cardia logo) close to their phone's NFC reader. Great for events!
Stick it on the back of your phone or inside your case. Touch your phone to theirs, back-to-back — networking made effortless.
Share your profile link directly: cardia.cards/your-username. Send it via WhatsApp, text, email, or add it to your social media bios.
The other person doesn't need an app or a Cardia account. Your profile opens in their regular web browser. They can view your info and save your contact right from there — it works with any smartphone that has NFC.
Keep your profile fresh and monitor your networking activity from the Cardia dashboard.
Change your photo, bio, links, and contact info at any time from your dashboard. Changes appear instantly on your public profile — no need to replace your card!
See how many times your card has been tapped and when. Track your networking activity to understand your reach and engagement.
If you lose your card, you can deactivate it immediately from your dashboard. Your profile data stays safe and you can order a replacement card linked to the same account.
